As many of you already know, Jay, Max and I have decided to begin eating whole foods and remove processed foods from our diets this past month. So far, it’s been great. I feel as though I have more energy and find myself being less hungry.
We have cut out all refined sugars, flours and grains. We’ve added more fruits and vegetables as well. We’ve been going to Shady Brook Farm to buy milk, eggs and produce.
It’s been so eye opening to see what products companies sneak unnecessary sugars and high fructose sugars into. Foods that you wouldn’t think need them! The average American consumes 130 pounds of sugar a year. That’s crazy!
